What is a VIP Preferred Card?

A VIP Preferred Card is your access to fast and easy check cashing services at gaming establishments across the country. Once enrolled, you can simply present your VIP Preferred Card and ID to a casino cashier and obtain your cash – quickly, easily and hassle-free. VIP Preferred also offers you the convenience of cashing checks electronically, also known as e-checks, without having to bring your checkbook.

How do I enroll for a VIP Preferred Card?

Enrollment is simple and fast can be done at the cashier cage of any participating location in the VIP Preferred Network Directory. You will be asked to fill out a simple enrollment form and present a blank check with a drivers license, state ID or military ID.  In less than a minute you will be notified of your new 10-day check cashing limit and receive a temporary paper or permanent card for your immediate use. You can begin cashing paper or electronic checks at any location in our VIP Preferred Network right away.

How do I cash a check with a VIP Preferred Card?

After you have been issued your VIP Preferred Card, you may quickly cash personal checks from any account in your name by providing the cashier with your VIP Preferred Card, ID and your check. In just a few seconds you will have your cash and be on your way.

How do I cash an electronic check (e-check)?

If you wish to process an e-check transaction, simply present the cashier with your VIP Preferred Card and your ID. Tell the cashier you wish to cash an e-check along with the dollar amount you wish to cash. In seconds a receipt will print out verifying the amount you requested. Simply sign the receipt authorizing Global Payments to have your bank debit your designated checking account (the bank account you enrolled with) in the form of an electronic funds transfer (EFT). You will be provided with a copy of the signed receipt to reconcile your checkbook - the same as if you had written and cashed a paper check.

How long does it take for an e-check to settle (be debited from my bank account)?

E-check transactions are debited from your designated bank account in approximately 2 business days.

How does my 10-day limit work?

Your limit applies to personal check cashing with both paper and electronic checks (e-checks). Your check cashing privileges will be honored as long as you do not exceed your assigned limit and your account remains in good standing. Each paper check or e-check you cash will be considered an “open item.” Each open item will be deducted from your available limit. After a 10 day period the dollar amount of each paper check or e-check transaction that clears the bank will be added back to your available limit for future use.

How do I check my available limit?

Present your VIP Preferred Card and ID to a cashier and ask them to access your available limit. They will have it for you in just a few seconds. You can also check your available limit at casino ATMs that display our “ATM Cash @dvantage” logo or “VIP Preferred Cards accepted here.”

How do I request to increase or decrease my check cashing limit?

You can request a limit increase or decrease by contacting a representative at our VIP Preferred Help Desk at 877-777-1355, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A representative there will be happy to assist you with your request.

What if my bank account information changes?

It is very important to update the banking information on file if it ever changes so you can continue to enjoy the ease and convenience of cashing e-checks. Just bring a new check and your VIP Preferred Card and ID to the cashier cage of your favorite participating gaming establishment and say you would like to update or register your banking information. You can also call our VIP Preferred Help Desk at 877-777-1355 to update your banking information by fax.

I received a secure PIN number for my VIP Preferred Card in the mail. What is this used for?

Our newest product, ATM Cash @dvantage, provides you with the capability to process electronic checks and receive cash directly at any participating casino’s ATMs using your VIP Preferred Card. This new feature is safe and fast and does not require a paper check or any interaction with the cage to receive your cash.

You may change your PIN at any ATM displaying the ATM Cash @dvantage logo or “VIP Preferred Cards accepted here”. Simply access your account, enter your PIN and follow the instructions on the screen.

     For Maximum Security:

  • Memorize your PIN and destroy the original PIN letter
  • Do NOT carry your PIN in your wallet or purse.
  • Do NOT write your PIN on your VIP Preferred Card.
  • Do NOT share your PIN.
  • If your VIP Preferred Card is lost, stolen, or your PIN is compromised, please call 1-877-777-1355.

How do I cash checks at the ATM?

You can cash electronic checks at any ATM that displays our ATM Cash @dvantage logo. You can also find participating locations on our VIP Preferred Network Directory.

The process is easy. Just swipe or insert your VIP Preferred Card at the ATM and follow the instructions on the screen. You will be prompted to enter your secure PIN number. You can withdraw a maximum of $500 per transaction, up to your available check cashing limit.

What if I forget my PIN number?

If you forget your secure PIN number, please call 877-777-1355 to request a new one. After verifying your identity, a new PIN will be generated and mailed to you. You should receive it in 5-7 business days.
